Code of Conduct

Rules & Regulations

A common framework that keeps the campus safe, orderly, and conducive to learning. All students are expected to read, understand, and adhere to these rules throughout their time at the institution.

Foundational Principle

All students are expected to strictly adhere to the rules and regulations framed by the College authorities from time to time, and to maintain the highest standards of behaviour in their academic and professional life.

Section 01
Conduct & Discipline

    All students must wear their identity card at all times while inside the institutional campus.

    Students must not stand or loiter in the corridors during class hours.

  • 05

    Writing on walls, desks, and any other furniture is forbidden.

  • 14

    Students must strictly follow the uniform dress code framed by the College authorities.

  • 18

    Use of mobile phones within the campus is strictly prohibited. Violators will be fined.

Section 02
Strictly Prohibited Activities

    Ragging, consumption of alcohol or drugs, smoking, use of vulgar language, and involvement in violence or strikes are strictly prohibited.

    All students must submit an affidavit in the prescribed format against Ragging.

  • 08

    Organizing or conducting tours, picnics, or cultural programmes without prior permission of the College authorities is strictly prohibited.

    Students must not involve themselves — directly or indirectly — in any matter or attend/organize any meeting that may adversely affect the College, the Management, or its community.

Section 03
Attendance & Academic Performance

    Students must give utmost importance to class work, practicals, and homework.

  • 10

    Late-comers will not be permitted to attend classes in that session.

    Attendance is taken regularly for all classes. A minimum of 80% attendance in each subject is compulsory to be eligible for the University examinations.

    All students must be regular to college. In case of unplanned absence, the matter must be reported to the concerned Faculty-in-charge, and a letter from a parent or guardian is required to resume classes.

    Attendance at all sessional examinations and class tests is compulsory.

  • 16

    The minimum mark specified by the University is required for appearing in the University examinations.

  • 17

    Promotion to higher classes is strictly governed by the rules of the affiliating University.

Section 04
Library & Campus Property

    Entry to the library is permitted only on production of the library ID card. All students must follow the library rules and regulations.

  • 19

    Damage to college property — including furniture and laboratory equipment — must be compensated by the student responsible for the loss.

Section 05
Documents, Fees & Disciplinary Powers

    The College Management has full authority to suspend or dismiss any student, without explanation, in the event of any untoward incident.

  • 21

    Original certificates submitted at the time of admission will be returned only after successful completion of the course.

  • 22

    If a student discontinues after admission, the fees for the remaining year(s) must be remitted in full to obtain the original documents and the Transfer Certificate.

  • 23

    The caution deposit will be refunded only at the time of issue of the Transfer Certificate.

  • 25

    The College will remain closed on all Government holidays and on special holidays declared by the Management.

Final Authority — In all matters concerning the interpretation or enforcement of these Rules & Regulations, the decision of the Administrator shall be final and binding on all students of the institution.
